FEATURING Jalapeño Co-milled Olive Oil

1/2 cup Jalapeño Co-milled Olive Oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal (or polenta)
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup buttermilk shake before measuring
2 large eggs
STEP 1Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
STEP 2In a large bowl mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
STEP 3Make space in the middle of your dry ingredients and mix in the buttermilk and the eggs.
STEP 4Once well combined, add in your Jalapeno Co-milled Olive Oil.
STEP 5Bake until cornbread is done about 20-25 minutes.
STEP 6ENJOY!
