Sold in sets of three (one per tree), the Magnet OL Olive fruit fly Attract and Kill (A&K) target device is a hand applied system combining long life attractant and insecticide formulations on a target device for season long control. The pheromone lure is only attached to every third device because the pheromone is even more powerful than the ammonia food attractant. The device attracts the olive fly to the insecticide treated target, minimizing the need for insecticide sprays and controlling the pest without the risk of insecticide contamination and damage to the environment.
