We’re taking a break with this recipe from the colorful, zesty, and vibrant spring fare we’ve been doing lately. Sometimes a person just wants dessert.
We recently released our line of Olive Oil Roasted Almonds with Smoked Salt & Herb de Provence, and we’ve been waiting to do something sweet (literally!) with them. Here’s what we came up with. Something so simple, it’s kind of ridiculous. But also really, really good.
… Chocolate bark with savory roasted almonds! These don’t taste like your store-bought almond chocolate bars. Our roasted almonds give the chocolate delicious undertones of fennel, basil, and thyme—and just a hint of sea salt. Enjoy these as a slightly decadent ending to a lovely spring afternoon of working, playing, and cooking with the windows open—you deserve it.
1 pound milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
½ cup coarsely chopped Olive Oil Roasted Almonds
Makes about 8 servings.
