Three Martini Recipes Featuring Locally-Produced Olive Juice
Posted by Olivia on Fri, March 25, 2011
Olives aren’t just good for making oil; they also make delicious juice. Did somebody say “dirty martini?”
When our own “Olive Queen,” Deborah Rogers was asked by Sonoma Syrup Co where to find the best olives, she knew just where to send them, and the result…. a handcrafted olive juice made with 100% locally-sourced olives. Bust out the shakers and toothpicks, because we are ready to celebrate this news.
Enjoy three Martini recipes to get your olive juices flowing. From the classic to toe experimental, we think you’ll enjoy trying out your new olive juice—shaken or stirred; that’s entirely up to you.
Classic Dirty Martini
2 ounces gin
1 ounce Olive Juice
½ ounce dry vermouth
2 olives, for garnish
Directions:
1) Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker glass; shake gently 10 seconds. Strain into a Martini glass; garnish with olives.
Salt and Pepper Martini
Ingredients:
2 ounces pepper vodka
2 tablespoons Olive Juice
2 olives, for garnish
Directions:
2) Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker glass; shake gently 10 seconds. Strain into a salt- and pepper-rimmed Martini glass. Garnish with olives.
Spicy Summer’tini
Ingredients:
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce tequila
½ ounce dry vermouth
½ ounce Olive Juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce
Directions:
3) Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker glass; shake gently 10 seconds. Strain into a salt-rimmed Margarita glass.

Good recipes. Thanks. I have found that the best olive juice for dirty martinis is Dirty Sue. Great flavor and not too salty.
