Get Grillin’ with our Hand-Forged Iron Serving Ware!
Posted by Olivia on Fri, May 06, 2011
You may have the grill fired up, the meat in the marinade, and the picnic salad ready to go, but if you’re grilling this season, don’t forget one crucial aspect: the grilling utensils!
Sadly, we’ve fallen victim to it ourselves. We’ve had the kebabs in the marinade, all ready to be skewered, only to realize . . . we didn’t have any barbecue skewers on hand! Don’t make the same mistake! We’ve brought a fine set of wrought iron summer ware to our shop, and they are just in time for grilling season.
Each piece of wrought iron is handcrafted by artisans—they are literally hand-forged! You can feel the special care that goes into each piece just by holding it in your hand. And they will last a lifetime when properly cared for—no plastic or wooden toss-away skewers this summer!
Need some inspiration for your grilling adventures?
Grilling is a fabulous way to savor fresh fruit of the summer while it’s in season. And since you can’t grill year-round, it makes the fruit even more special. Try our recipe for Grilled Fig Salad for starters, or simply skewer fresh figs and grill them until caramelized, then drizzle with honey and any Citrus Olive Oil.
Make sure everyone at the table eats their veggies by tossing them on the grill—guaranteed to deliver flavor. Skewer chunks of bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms for simple and delicious veggie skewers. Or try our recipe for Spicy Lime Grilled Corn—just in time for corn season!
And of course, you’re going to want to toss a bit of juicy meat on that hot grill. Virtually any cut of meat can benefit from a light char on the grill, but we’d like to recommend our recipe for Grilled Herb Shrimp. Skewer, grill, and savor.
Check out the full set of Wrought Iron Serving Pieces here. And here’s to a healthy, delicious grilling season!
